Chapmans Baobab

7th January 2016 - Chapman's has fallen.

On the 7th January, our beloved Chapman's Baobab, a National monument of Botswana and one of the 3 biggest trees in Africa, fell.  We have have no idea why it fell or if the tree is still alive.
The National Parks and Museum Authority of Botswana are sending out a team of botanists and archeologists to study the tree to find the cause and extent of the damage.
Light a candle for this beautiful tree.
